  1. Looks interesting & I'll have to check to see whether or not I can come; however, I'd be intrigued to hear how the presentation format works; given the nature of the session, I'd expect some presenters to want to use Google Apps, or Prezi, or maybe a spot of YouTube; (or, if they're using powerpoint - perhaps the type of presentation where you have multiple mini-presentations & use audience participation to determine the route through.

  2. Ah, I have just re-read, you said "selected" - does that mean "all those that are selected for the conference", "a subset of the presentations that will be selected by the committee", or "a subset of the presentations that will be self selected by the presenter" ...

I'd assumed it was the first, but, reading the actual comment, I suspect it's one of the latter two. Still a challenge for those doing it.

  3. Hi Emma, it means a subset of conference presentations will be in Ignite format. We will invite specific contributors to adopt the format - but are happy to consider volunteers! You get to display each "slide" for 15 seconds and have 20 slides. They can be Powerpoint slides or Prezi path steps. You can include videos as one of the slides - but it only gets 15 seconds!
